Not every litre wears a fancy front label. Some litres move in tankers and flexitanks.
ProMendoza announced Vinexpo Explorer Mendoza 2026 for 8–10 June — the first dedicated bulk-wine chapter with Vinexposium. Roughly 25 importers meet about 50 Argentine bulk exporters. The message is unromantic and useful: even when magazines chase single-vineyard Malbec, volume trade still fills supermarket own-labels, bag-in-box and blending needs abroad.
Mini-concept: bulk wine is wine sold in large anonymous volumes before final bottling. Quality can still be high; the packaging and brand come later. Countries that ignore bulk lose cashflow that keeps vineyards planted between prestige vintages.
For drinkers, the choice angle is honesty. Some nights you want a named estate bottle. Some nights a fair house pour beats a candy can. Bulk logistics make those mid-shelf bottles possible without pretending every glass is a trophy.
Argentina’s export rebound stories often mix bottled prestige and bulk spikes. Explorer separates the handshake so specialists can talk litres, freight and specs without drowning in tourism photos.
Keep the pattern: 8–10 June, ~25 importers × ~50 bulk exporters, Vinexposium + ProMendoza — Mendoza admits volume is still strategy.
